HSS60 / HSS80 Heat Shrink Sleeve

-3-layer field joint coating for an operating temperature not exceeding 80℃ in wet condition.

HSS80 Heat shrinkable wrap-around sleeve is designed for corrosion protection of girth weld joint buried steel pipeline, be suitable for use up to a continuous operating temperature upto 80℃ in wet conditions (as verified by hot water immersion testing) and shall be fully compatible with 3-layer PE factory applied pipeline coating.The sleeve be suitable for ambient conditions where the black body temperature of pipe and coatings can reach 85℃.

Construction: Three-layer system

First layer: Solvent free 100% solids novolac epoxy with two-component

Second layer: High shear strength hot-melt copolymer adhesive

Third layer: extruded radiation cross linked heat shrinkable high density polyethylene backing with TIP (Temperature Indicator Pattern) is optional.
