--High performance fiber reinforced coating protection sleeve

HRSS-DD is designed for protect girth welds against corrosion and is the optimum joint protection for PE and FBE coated pipes used in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD-Pull Through) applications. The fiber reinforcement gives the backing greater wear resistance.

Construction: Three-layer system

First layer:   Liquid epoxy primer CP-1, solvent-free two-component.

Second layer: High shear strength hot-melt copolymer adhesive.

Third layer:  Hevery Duty radiation cross-linked fiber reinforced polyethylene backing HRSS-DD

Features & Benefits

• HRSS-DD has excellent resistance to shear and peel force after installed and offers abrasion and wear resistance at pull through application. Simultaneously HRSS-DD has excellent anti-corrosion performance and easy installation, it could be installed cover wet epoxy primer instead of dry epoxy primer coating.
